This receiver cover is made of strong metal construction and is rustproof. Since the cover has an adjustable metal clip it is designed to fit both the 1 1/4 & 2" receivers. Cover is meant to protect the receiver from dirt and debris and requires a hitch pin or lock to keep in place (which is NOT included).
